As a client and student of various approaches to benefit body, mind and spirit, Tim developed an appreciation for massage and bodywork as an art. As a result, he works in a dynamic way, listening and feeling for an intended desired response, customizing the moments of each session using massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, connective tissue bodywork, reflexology and others.
Tim’s massage work began by doing impromptu chair massage for his office co-workers while they were handling stressful phone calls.
Fulfilling a life-long desire to provide deeply satisfying work with clients, Tim trained at Santa Fe’s Scherer Institute of Natural Healing (SFSOM), having previously studied at schools in Seattle.
Tim spent several years as lead therapist and instructor, supervising and coordinating the work of students and fellow therapists. His clients have described his massage work as “world class.”
His related background includes music, dance, facilitated group process, tai chi, and attentive time immersed in Nature.
