Magdelyn Brennan has been practicing massage since she attended the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in 1988. As a classically-trained pianist, she learned the art of listening and was thrilled to discover, via massage, the art of intuitive listening with the hands. Her touch has a presence of connection that lends itself to a deeply relaxing and renewing therapeutic massage. Her work is mainly Swedish with some incorporation of elements from other modalities, including Polarity, Jin Shin Do Acupressure, Deep Tissue, Ortho-Bionomy, Reflexology, BabyMoves (an off-shoot of Feldenkrais) and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. She has a particular affinity for working with the neck and head. Magdelyn enjoys having the opportunity to work with clients from near and far, from children to the elderly, and has been happily working at High Desert since 1997.
See her blog “Who Says Swedish Can’t Be Deep? (Practically Everyone for Some Reason)“, for more information about her work.
