Catherine artfully blends relaxing & therapeutic Swedish, Myofascial, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point work to create an integrated session with a deep energetic component. She also really likes doing Hands and Feet and is trained in Pre-Natal Massage.
Jill Gerber, co-owner
Jill’s love in doing bodywork is in combining her skills in massage therapy, Rolfing® Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral therapy, Neural and Visceral Manipulation into a session that can meet a wide range of needs. She loves working with a variety of people and conditions, always looking for where a strain pattern is coming from and how best to relieve it. She has the skills to work deeply or lightly, using elbow or fingertips and everything in between to create ease, relaxation and reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction.
Tracy Conrad, co-owner
Tracy practices a form of Japanese acupuncture called Shakuju Therapy. This is a gentle non-insertive technique that patients find very relaxing and effective. It is a full body treatment that address both acute as well as chronic symptoms.
Amelia focuses on the long-term reduction of chronic and acute pain patterns utilizing Myofascial Release and unwinding techniques, Cranial Sacral therapy, Deep Tissue, Zen Shiatsu meridian point release and facilitation of healing energy flow. She specializes in shoulder, low back and hip dysfunction syndromes. In addition, Amelia enjoys giving relaxing, meditative and therapeutic Swedish massage sessions.
Beth offers a graceful combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, gentle Acupressure, Aromatherapy (if desired), Energy Medicine, Reflexology and more for sessions that are thorough, individualized, relaxing, nurturing and intuitive. Clients say she seems to know right where to go, finds all the spots, has a calming presence and is surprisingly strong for her petite size! A yoga lover, artist, and RN, Beth has been a practicing massage therapist since 1999.
Brandon is an Advanced Rolfing® Structural Integrator. His touch has a slow listening pace and contacts with hands and elbows from very deep to light touch and field work(off body). Brandon works with clients on the table, seated upright, standing and moving and offers 10, 5 or 3 session series, as well as single sessions to help clients find more balance, ease, space, and movement. Intuitive work and energy work is also offered. Helping others get out of the organization around experience and back to organization around our natural neutral design is of top priority.
Cathy’s understanding of a unified field influences all her work. To help her clients achieve spiritual, emotional & physical integration, she works with light, pulse, rhythm and the primary energies of the four elements (earth, including animals & plants, air, fire and water). Her work incorporates Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, and Reflexology.
Charlotte fell in love with massage therapy while participating in a healing workshop at the Findhorn community in Scotland. She finished her 1000-hour massage training in 1986. Her modalities include Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, massage for elders, Prenatal Massage, Oncology Massage and some Reiki, as well as Ortho-Bionomy.
For the last eight years Chris has focused on chronic pain issues and limited range of motion disorders. Besides clinical issues, Chris employs a wide array of techniques including NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT), Deep Tissue, Positional Release, Swedish, Reiki, Myofascial and various forms of energy work to create an integrative session. He is also certified in Erik Dalton’s method of Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy.
Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Licensed Massage Therapist, Dr. Christina Claude offers acupuncture based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine Acupuncture and Esoteric Acupuncture. Christina incorporates a variety of bodywork techniques including medical massage, myofascial trigger point therapy, manual therapy, neural reset techinique, and Biodynamic cranial sacral therapy.
Debra loves providing a space for your own healing by creating an integrative, relaxing and therapeutic massage. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, LaStone Therapy, Reflexology, Thai, Pregnancy, Cranial Sacral and Trigger Point. She creates each session using a combination of those techniques that best allow the body’s nervous system to come to a still point, thereby finding it’s own pathway to balance within.
Diane is a Chicago native and earned her massage therapy degree from the Northwestern Institute for Whole Health while living in New Hampshire. Diane likes to incorporate a variety of techniques into any massage therapy session including: neuromuscular therapy, trigger point work, stretching, hot stones and pre-post sports massage. Diane enjoys the meditative nature of massage work and the challenges that each client presents to her while on the table.
Dianne has been a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico for 10 years and has also been a licensed massage therapist for 22 years. As an acupuncturist, herbalist, and massage therapist, Dianne assists people in their evolution towards better health on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. She views Oriental Medicine as a proactive and preventative approach to health and well being, as well as a modality that helps people regain balance when disease manifests.
Ellen has been a licensed massager therapist for 32 years and brings much expertise, experience and knowledge to the table. She trained in NYC at the Swedish Institute in 1986 and has been practicing ever since both privately and in various health care facilities.
Ellen likes to combine direct, deep muscle work with indirect or more subtle techniques for overall integration and relaxation. She believes in massage as healthcare, incorporating Neuromuscular Therapy with Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage, Acupoints, Cranial Sacral Therapy and energy medicine techniques to customize each treatment. Ellen also practices Manual Lymph Drainage (Dr. Vodder style), a specific treatment that works with the lymphatic system for overall detoxification and boosting the immune system.
Ellie’s interest in health and bodywork began in the late 70’s, when she owned and managed a natural food store in California. She completed massage and holistic health studies at Heartwood Institute in Santa Cruz, CA. in 1980 and soon after relocated to Santa Fe. Over the years, Ellie has studied other healing modalities, including Medical Massage, Foot Reflexology and Cranial Sacral Therapy, which she has incorporated into her practice.
Evelyn offers her clients a blend of experience, knowledge and love of the work. You can relax under her hands with the confidence that you will enjoy your treatment and feel great as a result.
In 2001, Janis graduated from massage school in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and has been working at High Desert Healthcare & Massage since 2002. She integrates Swedish, firm therapeutic touch, Reflex, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Massage, and cranial techniques into her sessions as requested or needed, specializing in neck, head and upper body stress release.
Karen’s life work is to give massage. Along with traditional Therapeutic Swedish massage, her work is very intuitive and can incorporate ortho-bionomy, cranial sacral, reflexology and deep point work as your needs require. Her work is deceptively soft yet can be deep when required.
Lian graduated from the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in 2001. She opened her private practice and has been working in the field ever since. Her style is based in a solid Swedish massage but may also incorporate other modalities as she works, such as Muscle Energy Technique, Myofascial, and Acupressure.
Magdelyn does mostly Swedish Massage that often brings in a variety of elements from Polarity, Jin Shin Do, Ortho-Bionomy and Cranialsacral, to name a few. She has an energetic touch that’s deeply relaxing and renewing on all levels, and employs a range of touch that spans from light to penetrating, depending on the client’s need and preference. She has a special affinity for neck and head work, as well as for working with children and the elderly.
As a client and student of various approaches to benefit body, mind and spirit, Tim developed an appreciation for massage and bodywork as an art. As a result, he works in a dynamic way, listening and feeling for an intended desired response, customizing the moments of each session using massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, connective tissue bodywork, reflexology and others.
Todd approaches the body through the Chinese energetic model. He accomplishes this by using a variety of modalities including: Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, cranio-sacral, and Zen Shiatsu.
